This A7 note card features my watercolor painting of Oregano.
Oregano symbolizes joy, love, and protection in the language of herbs and flowers.
This card makes a great gift for the chef, the gardener, the herbalist, or the nature lover.
Historical information about the symbolism of the herb on the back of the card reads:
""Oregano" translates to "joy of the mountain" in Greek. The goddess Aphrodite was said to have created it as a symbol of joy on Mount Olympus. Ancient Greeks and Romans used it in wedding ceremonies and as a symbol of love and good health."
